UN Alliance of Civilizations calls citizens worldwide to ‘Do ONE thing for Diversity and Inclusion’ through 2nd global campaign

New York May 16, 2012- In 2002 The UN General Assembly declared May 21 as the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development following the adoption in 2001 of the Universal Declaration on Cultural Diversity by UNESCO.

The restaurant industry is very competitive and restaurant owners need to differentiate themselves in the marketplace to achieve longer-term success.  Caprivi, situated in the heart of Thembisa, was inherited by young entrepreneur Lehlogonolo (Hlogi) Makau in 2006. When his father passed away, Hlogi took responsibility of the establishment, which resulted in an expansion of the business but his studies were compromised. He managed to turn what was a liquor store into a hip pub and restaurant.

TOMZ is back on SABC 1 from Monday April 30, 2012 at 17h00.  The science and technology programme funded by Department of Science and Technology takes young people on a journey to learn more about the world of science and technology.
